Go Animate!!!!

I tried making a cartoon and try out this website. But I could not save my own cartoon without having to pay :(. Just settled with embedding an interesting cartoon.

Last Lesson

We've had our last lesson on Internet Tools. It has been a very useful, very practical module. I enjoyed it a lot. Now, at least I know what the students are fond of doing and I am now capable of doing as well.

Web 2 is awesome! Now I have started my own google site. Isn't that amazing??? I think I can include lots of things that I have learned from this module. Thanks Dr. Churchill. I am beginning to enjoy google more than the yahoo now. Can't wait to explore more. I enjoyed Teacher Tube, RISAL, Scribd, slideshare, among other things. Mindmap was ok since we have learned it before. Voice Thread was fun and of course, what a way to end the course with goanimate.com

Though I have to admit I have yet to understand open source, it seems that it's a promising direction that should be explored.

I hope that there could be some follow up on Advanced Internet tools.

Internet Tools on Web 2.0 Impressions

Today we started the Internet Tools class on Web 2.0. This web 2.0 is the latest trend in technology. All websites are using this and it makes it inevitable for us teacher-librarians to learn.

It's popular, convenient and an all-in-one interface. It's like everything that you need is within reach. We now have a try on the different applications of Web 2.0, such as this blog, and others:
